Mitsubishi EVO VIII

2005 AWD Turbo EVO 8

Mitsubishi EVO VIII Mini Battery installation images. I will write a how to on how to BUILD and install your own Mini Battery kit for the Mitsubish EVO VIII or VIIII. It is actally really easy. I have my templates on how to build it and all. All you have to do is get some sheetmetal, cut it to my template and have someone bend it for you. I was lucky enough to have my Girlfriends Dad bend most of the Battery box for me. This should not cost you more than $50 Max including paying someone to bend this for you. My guess is you will spend less than $25 US for the sheet metal cheaper if you don't want to use Stainless like I did and less than $25 for paying someone to bend this for you. It should take them less than 15 minutes to bend everything you need. The only thing I did not document is where to drill the wholes. It did not take too much effort to find the placement of the holes to drill. Above you will see one image of the finished product, but I have Many more pictures I will try and upload for you to see how easy it is. I did not document The bending and cutting of the sheet metal, but it is really self explanatory. Enjoy and Good Luck.

If you need the template, let me know and I will try and email you a Tiff file for you to cut out the template.
